Supported Recovery

Recovery is a difficult task that is rarely accomplished alone. Residents receive support in their efforts to become clean and sober and maintain that sobriety through on-site group and individual counseling, mandatory attendance at AA/NA meetings, work with a sponsor, and the built-in network of other recovering individuals on site.

On Site group and individual case management emphasizes relapse prevention and is conducted by a MSW with experience in the mental health and substance abuse field and focuses on relapse prevention. Case management includes assistance in working towards personal and financial goals, searching for affordable housing and placement upon graduation.

A Place to Call Home

The Ashley Center is a historic school building that has been remodeled to include 16 individual rooms, furnished with a bed, dresser, and desk. There are 3 shared bathrooms, a full commercial kitchen, dining room, 2 lounge areas with televisions and one with computer and internet access, and a workout area with exercise equipment. The grounds include a meditation garden and vegetable garden that are tended by residents.
